Kito's Story
Roderick "Kito" Jackson was an immense loss on Dec. 06.2023 while on duty .
Kito’s legacy is sharing his wisdom and his boundless love. He was kind, honest, and hardworking. Kito stood tall for what he believed in even when it was difficult. His heart was always open and his hands were always ready to help; not only within family but also within his community and at his workplace.
In honor of his loving memory, his mother Norma Asprilla, created this organization to help keep his legacy alive while also helping out the youth of community and giving back.
Our Impact
CRLS - Light Someone's Way Scholarship
At Kito Jackson Scholarship Fund INC., we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. That's why we started this scholarship with Cambridge Rindge and Latin School to help young adults to continue their education.
Kito All Star Games
Our yearly basketball tournament with the youth of the community. We are proud to show how we all come together to help and support the youth stay active and engaging.
We nurture the next generation of leaders by providing learning opportunities that promote growth, curiosity, and resilience.
